VintageGiovanni Scascighini in Minusio Tessin Copper and Brass Tray with Etched Floral Design - 1950's
A rare brass tray by the Italian-Swiss artist Giovanni Scascighini in Minusio / Tessin. Minusio is a municipality in the district of Locarno in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. Brass, with hammered decor around the rim and engraved floral motive.
12 ¾” x 10 ¼” with a ½” lip.
Although it has a brass colored back, the front appears to have a copper color to it. It can probably be polished to bring out the brass tone on the front.
